The Western Michigan Christian girls cross country team dominated the Division 4 regional championship, winning by nearly 30 points. Grace VanderKooi led the team with a first-place finish, followed by Morgan Lawrence in fifth and Leah Sneller in eighth. Lawrence, a senior, has been setting personal best times consistently and was named the MLive Muskegon Athlete of the Week. Other top performers in the poll included Addie Falkowski from North Muskegon volleyball, Mayson Southland from Mona Shores girls golf, Sara Weber from Grand Haven volleyball, and Mila Vantol from North Muskegon girls golf.
