IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a 309-dual-branded hotel in Cascais, Portugal, in partnership with Grupo Onyria. The Onyria Marinha Cascais, Vignette Collection, and Kimpton Quinta da Marinha Cascais are set to open between this year and next, adding to Portugal’s hotel portfolio which includes luxury properties like Kimpton Atlântico Algarve and Kimpton Lisbon.
Located in the scenic Quinta da Marinha, the hotels will offer guests a peaceful retreat surrounded by the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park and views of the Atlantic Ocean. They will be within walking distance of sandy beaches, shops, and restaurants, as well as a short drive from Lisbon International Airport.
The Onyria Marinha Cascais, Vignette Collection will feature 111 rooms, two restaurants, an indoor pool, and a wellness spa, while the Kimpton Quinta da Marinha Cascais will have 198 rooms, three restaurants, a spa, and an 18-hole golf course. Both properties will cater to families, business travelers, and locals alike, with conference rooms and event spaces available.
The signing of these hotels underscores IHG’s commitment to expanding its luxury and lifestyle portfolio, with a focus on unique, design-forward properties like Kimpton Quinta da Marinha Cascais.
