Grand Traverse County, Leelanau County, Benzie County, and Manistee County are under a high wind warning until 8 p.m. The National Weather Service warns of branches falling, unsecured objects being displaced, and localized power outages. Travel may be difficult for high-profile vehicles. The winds are expected to develop before noon and continue into the afternoon and evening across the state.
