Beyoncé unveils ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour prior to Grammy Awards evening

Beyoncé announced a new tour titled “Cowboy Carter Tour 2025” through a social media post and an updated homepage on her website. No tour dates have been revealed yet. This announcement follows her charity’s donation of $2.5 million to aid families affected by the California wildfires.

The tour is in support of her album “Cowboy Carter,” where she first performed songs during a halftime show that was streamed on Netflix. The performance became available as a standalone special on the platform. The announcement of the tour coincides with the Grammy Awards, where “Cowboy Carter” has earned 11 nominations, including album of the year.

Netflix teased the tour with a post featuring a reference to one of the album’s songs, and Beyoncé’s label responded by saying “Saddle up, see y’all on the road.” The album has achieved double platinum status, with its lead single “Texas Hold ’Em” nominated for record of the year and song of the year. Released in March, “Cowboy Carter” is Beyoncé’s eighth consecutive studio album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 200 album chart. It also topped the Top Country Albums chart, making her the first Black woman to lead in this category. The announcement coincides with the beginning of Black History Month, a tradition Beyoncé has followed in the past for tour announcements.
