The CDC also began removing content related to gender identity. An email from the Office of Personnel Management directed employees to only recognize male and female genders.
CDC pages on contraception and emergency contraception were missing, but the information can still be found through detailed searches. Despite these changes, Trump stated in a December interview that he would not restrict access to medication abortions during his second term.
