He initially committed to Pitt over Michigan, Michigan State, and Penn State but ultimately decided to join the Wolverines following a visit earlier this month.
Dotson’s commitment comes at a crucial time for Michigan, as it offsets the loss of another four-star defensive back, Ivan Taylor, who recently flipped to Alabama.
