In the House, Republicans have flipped three seats in North Carolina, with projected wins for Brad Knott, Tim Moore, and Addison McDowell. Additionally, Laura Friedman and Luz Rivas of California, Tony Wied of Wisconsin, and Kelly Morrison of Minnesota are projected to win their congressional districts.
On the gubernatorial front, Bob Ferguson is set to become Washington’s next governor, while Spencer Cox has won reelection in Utah. In terms of ballot measures, Colorado and Arizona voters have approved measures to enshrine the right to abortion in their state constitutions.
In other election news, eight states are projected to bar noncitizen voting, despite it already being illegal in federal elections. This outcome comes as part of a series of election results from across the country that will significantly impact the political landscape in the coming years.
