Tendulkar, along with his family, emphasized the importance of voting and urged citizens to exercise their right. Similarly, Akshay Kumar and Rajkummar Rao also emphasized the significance of voting and commended the polling arrangements. Other celebrities like Kartik Aaryan, Tina Dutta, Urmila Matondkar, Sonu Sood, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D’Souza, Sunita Ahuja, Vishal Dadlani, Pooja Bhatt, Subhash Ghai, Kabir Khan, Zoya Akhtar, Ali Fazal, Sunil Shetty, John Abraham, and Farhan Akhtar also cast their votes and encouraged others to do the same. The early voters expressed their belief in the democratic process and the need for citizens to participate in shaping the future of their state. The Maharashtra Assembly Elections, taking place across 288 assembly constituencies, saw a total of 4,136 candidates, including 2,086 independents, vying for electoral success. The voting process began at 7 am and concluded at 6 pm, with a strong emphasis on the importance of every vote counting towards the democratic process.
