Galaxis, a platform focused on creating Web3 communities, is offering celebrities and brands the opportunity to connect directly with their fans without relying on centralized social media platforms. By utilizing NFT digital membership cards, Galaxis helps celebrities like Steve Aoki and Mike Tyson, as well as brands like the NBA, to engage with their audiences in unique ways.
The platform allows these creators to offer exclusive benefits to cardholders, such as redeemables and access to private channels. For example, Mike Tyson offered a physical meeting to one lucky NFT holder, while the NBA provided dynamic upgrades based on player performance.
Galaxis’ CEO, Andras Kristof, explained that the platform is focused on building infrastructure for these communities, allowing users to run their own communities autonomously. The firm is also working on developing fully “unstoppable communities” using decentralized data storage technology.
One of their most notable projects involved providing the Web3 infrastructure for Donald Trump’s NFT collections, which sold out in one day. Kristof believes that other political figures and parties could follow Trump’s lead in creating unstoppable communities using digital membership cards.
Kristof emphasized that Galaxis is intended to serve as infrastructure, allowing creators to build and manage their communities independently, regardless of their personal views. The platform aims to empower individuals to create their own communities without relying on traditional social media platforms.
