Brodie Ferguson Joins EMU Men’s Golf Team


Eastern Michigan University’s Head Men’s Golf Coach, Andy Walker, has welcomed Brodie Ferguson from Oakura, New Zealand, to the 2024-25 roster. Ferguson, who has showcased his talent in various events in New Zealand, is expected to bring his world-class skills to the Eagles in the upcoming fall season. Walker expressed his excitement about adding Ferguson to the team, praising his abilities and potential to strengthen the team’s depth.

Ferguson has had a successful year, participating in 10 events in New Zealand where he won one event and finished in the top 10 seven times. He also competed in four professional events, showcasing his talent on the course. As a member of the New Plymouth Boys’ High School team, Ferguson has been named the school’s golfer of the year multiple times and has achieved significant accomplishments in his career.

Ferguson is the seventh newcomer to join the EMU men’s golf program for the 2024-25 season, adding to an already talented roster. He joins a group of promising players from around the world who have committed to the Eagles. The team is gearing up for the upcoming season, with their first event scheduled to be the Southern Dunes Collegiate in Maricopa, Arizona.
