Brady Miller Joins Chicago Dogs

Former Western Michigan right-hander Brady Miller has signed a contract with the Chicago Dogs of the American Association, marking his entry into the professional ranks. This comes after fellow Bronco Luke Thelen was drafted by the Colorado Rockies earlier this week. Miller, a native of Plainfield, Ill., had an impressive career at Western Michigan, earning an All-MAC Second Team selection in his freshman year. Despite missing a season due to injury, he returned in 2023 to lead the MAC in conference wins and rank high in innings pitched and strikeouts, earning another All-MAC Second Team selection.

Throughout his career, Miller was a key player for Western Michigan, ranking second all-time in innings pitched and fourth in strikeouts for the program. He also holds degrees in Finance and an MBA from WMU. His signing with the Chicago Dogs is a strong testament to his talent and dedication to the sport.

Miller’s successful season in 2023 saw him tie for the team lead in innings pitched, lead Western Michigan in wins for the second consecutive season, and earn a spot on the All-Tournament Team as the Broncos won the MAC Tournament title. This accomplishment adds to his impressive track record on and off the field, making him a valuable addition to the professional baseball scene. Congratulations to Brady Miller on this exciting new chapter in his career.
